Ongoing training

The activities financed by the Régie as part of the ongoing training on electric power transmission reliability for entities subject to reliability standards for the electric power transmission system (hereinafter Registered Entities) are as follows:

Annual Reliability Seminar – 4th edition held on October 3, 2024

2023 GridSecCon Conference (October 17 to 20, 2023) (in French only)

The Régie offered to pay the registration fees for the 2023 GridSecCon conference organized by NERC, E-ISAC and NPCC for three participants per Registered Entity.

The Régie also provided simultaneous interpreting services for this event.

Annual Reliability Seminar – 3rd edition held on September 14, 2023

EUCI Training on Basic Principles of Electric Power Transmission (March 8, 2023) and CIP Standards (March 22-23, 2023)

The Régie organized two private training courses with the specialized organization EUCI (Electric Utility Consultants Inc.): Fundamentals of Electricity Transmission and NERC Standards for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP standards). The Régie offered one and two places per Registered Entity, respectively.

2022 GridSecCon (October 17 to 19, 2022) and GTD (October 20 to 22, 2022) Conferences

The Régie has offered to pay the registration fees for the NERC 2022 GridSecCon and the IEEE PES Latin America GTD (generation, transmission and distribution of electric power) conferences (for 5 and 2 participants per Registered Entity, respectively).
