Research and Innovation

The activities financed by the Régie as part of research and innovation in the field of electric power transmission reliability, which includes, in particular, financial support for basic and applied research, are as follows:

Financial Support for Research Projects

The Régie de l’énergie and InnovÉÉ announce the launch of FiabilitÉÉ, a grant program for research projects in the field of electric power transmission reliability. For more information:

The Régie de l'énergie and the Ministère de l'Économie, de l'Innovation et de l'Énergie (MEIE), via InnovÉÉ, are granting $1.2 million to two collaborative research projects aimed at improving the electric power transmission reliability in Quebec as part of the FiabilitÉÉ program.

Research Training Grants

The Régie de l’énergie is supporting the next generation of students in the areas of natural sciences, mathematics and engineering by offering a training grant in partnership with the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQNT) in the field of electric power transmission reliability.
